Term of office: 4 years

Voting age: 18

Residency requirements:

  • 6 months resident of BC and currently on the BC Voters List
  • 30 days resident of Victoria

Positions to vote for:

  • 1 mayor
  • 8 councillors
  • 3 Capital Regional Board representatives
  • 9 School District Trustees (School District 61)

Number of candidates running:

  • 10 for mayor
  • 29 for council
  • 12 for School District Trustee

One Additional ballot question:

“Are you in favour of spending up to $250,000 for establishing a Citizens’ Assembly to explore the costs, benefits, and disadvantages of the amalgamation between the District of Saanich and the City of Victoria?”
